Nick’s Sticks are named after founding farmer Nick Wallace. Nick began development on the Sticks over 4 years ago out of frustration over not being able to find a health snack to eat while on the go with his organic meat company, Wallace Farms.
It’s his vision, passion, and hard work that bring our high-quality grass-fed beef and free-range turkey snack sticks straight from the Wallace family farm in Keystone, Iowa, to families all across the country.
Six Questions with Nick
- Why did you create Nick’s Sticks?
I needed high quality protein for how busy I was on the farm. Often times I would skip lunch and the snack sticks are perfect to keep me going.
- Who is your target customer?
Any demographic really. Young and old alike love our product.
- What is unique to your line?
100% grass-fed and no sugar or chemical preservatives.
- How many times did you try your formula before being happy with it?
At least a dozen times.
- What is the best way to eat your product?
Really any time of day but I like to use it as a mid-morning or mid afternoon snack.
- What your favourite feedback you’ve gotten about your product?
How simple the ingredients are and how the beef and turkey is not masked by flavor enhancers or artificial ingredients.
We are trying to change the rural landscape from mono-cropping to diversified organic farms. Each package enjoyed gets us one step closer to that goal!
