Our formula is powerful because of how each ingredient works in harmony with each other. We’ve created a lightweight, non-greasy oil blend using premium ingredients like coconut, argan, jojoba, and castor oil, and many more.

Exploring the Vision and Core Values of Elixir Naturals

LCG Foods engaged in a discussion with the founder of Elixir Naturals, Tina and Shiela Oskooei, to better understand the brand's mission, core values, and other topics that we thought our retail partners might want to know.

 

What motivated you to start your company and create the products that we see today? 

Elixir Naturals was founded by two sisters, Tina and Sheila. Born and raised in Toronto with Iranian roots, it was no surprise they inherited some of the most defining traits of Persian hair—thick, frizz-prone hair. They struggled with it all: dryness, split ends, breakage, and untameable frizz.

In her late teens, Tina began constantly straightening her hair to make it more manageable, but frequent heat styling left it dry, dull, and damaged. That’s when their mother stepped in, creating homemade elixirs using powerful natural oils to restore their hair’s health. The results were undeniable—softer, shinier, deeply hydrated hair that finally felt revived.

As self-proclaimed hair enthusiasts, Tina and Sheila went on to try countless store-bought products, only to find that most didn’t live up to their promises. They continued to rely on their mother’s trusted formulas, the only ones that consistently delivered real results, and felt compelled to share her coveted recipe with those seeking truly effective, natural haircare.

What are some challenges you’ve had to overcome to bring your business to its current state?

One of our biggest challenges was finding the right partner to help scale our formula while maintaining the quality and integrity of our formula. It was important to us that nothing be compromised as we grew.
