Interview with Louisa, President of Cocoalicious
LCG Foods sat down with Cocoalicious' President, Louisa, and asked her some questions to better understand the brand's vision, core values, and other topics that we thought potential retail partners would want to know.

What are your company’s core values? We believe in fueling our bodies with the correct ingredients while sharing the pleasurable experience food has to offer. We also take a deeper dive into our social impact encouraging investments in organics and fair-trade opportunities.
If you could tell a retailer three things about what makes your brand different, what would they be? a. We cater to many different dietary needs including gluten free, vegan and no sugar. b. Cocoalicious is both Organic and Fair trade, endorsing ethical and environmental awareness. c. We pay particular attention to clean and wholesome ingredients that are non-GMO and nutrient dense.
What are some of the challenges that you've overcome to bring your business to its current state? There's a lot that goes into a brand. You have to take account of everything from developing a fantastic recipe and follow regulations, to certifying the ingredients to creating beautiful packaging and then spreading the word! It takes having the courage to be open, honest and real along with an understanding that it's a constant journey towards success. What do you enjoy doing outside of work? We love cooking up a storm and creating delicious and healthy recipes, but it's obviously not all about making and sharing our favourite foods! We believe in living balanced and reflective lifestyles. |
